Listening to the Stone by Shane Woolridge
‘My journey thus far, my passion for stone, my constant curiosity and the insights I have gained along the way. I will discuss how I came to be a full-time artist, and my plans and dreams for the future.’
Shane was born in England 1959, arrived in Queenstown in 1993 and started a stonemasonry business. He began his art practice in 2003 and has been a full time artist for the last two years.
An Artistic Journey by Deidre Copeland
Deidre was born on a Southland sheep farm and now has her studio in Cromwell. Her art is inspired by the geography of the human face. She has won many major art awards and painted many well-known NZers.
