Queenstown Research Week chief organiser Professor Peter Shepherd will demystify the science behind the many different types of sugar – like white, brown, coconut, stevia and low carb – on the shop shelves. He will go on to show how too much sugar causes problems for our body, how obesity develops and how we might successfully address this modern world problem.
