LUMA is coming to Queenstown! Booked for the 24th – 27th June 2015, during Queenstown Winter Festival.
Showcasing a group of New Zealand light sculptors in a number of down-town locations, LUMA is Queenstown’s celebration of the International Year of Light.
The LUMA Pilot Project is planned in celebration of the International Year of Light (IYL2015) and as a ‘proof of concept’ to coincide with this year’s Queenstown Winter Festival. The pilot project will feature four striking light installations by Auckland-based Angus Muir Design that have been exhibited at similar light events internationally.
The light installations will be on display in Church Lane and on Queenstown’s Marine Parade between the Memorial Gates and the Bathhouse.
The LUMA Pilot Project will be free to attend and held over 4 nights between 4pm and 12am, from Wednesday 24th till Saturday 27th June.
