The Family 100 research at the Auckland City Mission provided insights into why people become stuck in the poverty cycle and the issues they face. The findings highlighted the need to collect and use data more effectively, and to develop innovative services and programmes.
For 22 years Dame Diane Robertson was CEO of the Auckland City Mission. Now she chairs Data Futures Partnership which is developing guidelines about how data about people should be controlled and used. She attended the Queenstown Tackling Poverty workshop.
